New News Because I’m Newsing a Little More Each Day

I know, I’m behind again.  Aside from life stuff Marvel released the Secret Wars Expansion for the Marvel Multiverse Roleplaying Game so, I’ve been going through that and I’ve been working on my Stargate assets for that game.  The new expansion has some fun stuff for starships which has been helpful to me in this process.  With that I’ve been working to update my quick reference resources on here.  It’s taking me longer than I anticipated because I’m redoing all of it with a more efficient process to layout and design the pages.  I’ll start getting some of these resources posted later this.  I keep finding more and more typos and it’s very frustrating.  I’ve also been playing with this app to build character sheets.  One of the good folks on the Marvel Multiverse RPG server on Discord took the time to build this app where you can easily build your characters, Iconic Items, vehicles, headquarters, and now starships.  They even built into it features that allow you to make custom options like Origins, Occupations, Powers, and everything else to create your characters however you want!  Pending Narrator approval.  For example, I’ve been using this app to build my Stargate assets.  Origins for goa’uld or tok’ra characters.  Wraith characters with their ships and weapons.  And I’ve been making real progress finally sheeting all the randomly generated characters I’ve been making this whole time.  Recently, they made the app fully accessible through any web browser using this link: https://mrcool210.github.io/Bullpen-/  It’s been great!  Using this app on my iPhone’s web browser just took the use I had for my one off android device.  I’m absolutely fine with that, by the way.  By now I’m sure anyone who knows me knows some of my experience with android devices.  All that aside, this web-app version works far better than the app-app I have on that device.  The app is called Bullpen and if you’re interested in the Marvel Multiverse RPG then this app is for you!  And be sure you send some love to MrCool.  They’ve done some great work with this project!

     I got sidetracked the last couple weeks and missed recording but I’ve been thinking lately about the “Scully Effect” and how it’s impacted my life and just how grateful I am for that.  I’m sure I’ll some long, rambling conversation with myself about it that I’ll record and send off throughout the internet but in short, the “Sully Effect” has influenced my standards in dating and such.  Thankfully, that standard has enabled me to dodge a few bullets over the years.  Theoretically some less-than-metaphorical bullets too.  Anyway, I’ll be putting up a new episode on Wednesday.  Also, start getting ready for LA Comic Con!  Only one month!
